Provision Fats and Oils, Inc. (PFO) was incorporated on May 23, 2002. The business was acquired by Paul and Penny VanNortwick.
The business was originally started by Warren Stephey in 1979 as the W.E. Stephey Company. As the Manager of Animal & Vegetable By-products Purchasing with Ralston Purina, Warren learned the fundamentals of the trade. When Warren started his own brokerage business he brought that expertise and a simple philosophy "Brokers need a servant attitude".
PFO’s business, like its predecessor, is a trusted partner to producers and buyers of animal and vegetable by-products. As an independent party we can assist in price discovery, contract management, planning and general sales & marketing support.
The company’s customers consist of various feed mills, vegetable oil producers, fatty acid manufactures, fats & oil blenders, bio-diesel producers, and glycerin buyers.
